We are presenting the limited-edition Abyss vase, which embodies the new era of the Moser glassworks under the art direction of designer Jan Plecháč.  

Breathe in, close your eyes and immerse yourself in the unknown. Find courage, determination and the desire to go on. The Abyss vase embodies the revolution of glassmaking as well as the innate emotions of each human being. It is the first Moser piece designed by the creative director Jan Plecháč In his seven-kilogram crystal monument, he depicts his own vision of a new, dynamic Moser, while also continuing the admirable tradition that started in 1857 with the founder of the glassworks, Ludwig Moser.

   

The innovative crystal object was inspired by the ocean. Lovers of freediving affirm that they find not only inspirational tension in the depths but also peace and harmony. For the Abyss vase, the strain between enormous pressure and meditative lightness embodies the contrast between the organically shaped core and the sharply cut exterior brutalist edges. The vase’s core is shaped by the glassmaker’s breath, making every piece unique.
