We produce the decanter and water, whiskey, and long drink glasses using lead-free crystal and the traditional round cut technique. This affords every piece
of the collection its striking vertical lines, with a golden letter “M” adorning the bottom. The design style of Viennese Modernism lends the 1913 drinkware set its original, timeless appearance.
The designer and current Art Director of Moser studied architecture at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He’s won several international and domestic awards for his work and signed his name under world-class projects.
“The drinkware set 1913 was inspired
by an older, yet genuinely timeless, collection that was made over 100 years ago in the Moser glassworks. We took
it out of the archive and played with the proportions and design in order
to propel it into the next millennium. The collection breaks through the barrier between heavy glasses meant for hard liqueurs and their lighter counterparts intended for soft
drinks. I believe it will delight future generations for an additional 110 years.”
